Aircraft Mechanic — Light Aircraft Maintenance

Arawak Aviation is building an aircraft maintenance workshop at the General Aviation Zone (ZAG) of Le Lamentin - Aimé Césaire Airport, Martinique, targeting Part-CAO approval (combined continuing airworthiness management and maintenance).
This position is being opened as part of the workshop's set-up. Effective start of activity is subject to obtaining the corresponding regulatory approvals.
The role
You will carry out scheduled maintenance and troubleshooting on a light aircraft fleet (single and twin-engine piston aircraft, with possible extension to other categories as the workshop grows): periodic inspections, documentation and record-keeping, and participation in setting up the organisation's quality system.
The workshop is ultimately intended to evolve toward Part-145 approval, with an extended technical scope.
Requirements
Valid EASA Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence, category B1 (mechanical) — category B2 or additional ratings a plus
Recent practical experience consistent with Part-66 privilege maintenance requirements
Qualifications or experience on light piston-engine aircraft; specific type ratings to be discussed depending on the fleet
Working knowledge of Part-M / Part-CAO continuing airworthiness requirements is a plus, not required at hiring
Strong documentation discipline and ability to work autonomously within a newly-formed organisation
Good technical English (manufacturer manuals, Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins)
Based in, or willing to relocate to, Martinique
